Class Description
Stop wasting time on manual bids and processes. Our intensive, 2-hour lab is essential for estimating professionals who want to do electronic takeoff right.
You’ll learn the ins and outs of electronic takeoff and best practices for using the bid to manage the job.
The hands-on format means you can work through our sample job step-by-step with an experienced instructor. Better yet, provide your own job and spend class time creating an electronic workflow that you can actually use for future jobs.
We’ll show you how to bid on an actual job from start to finish. Learn how to set up the bid, link to our estimating and pricing software, takeoff, add expenses and breakouts, and use your electronic bid for managing the job.
*This lab is 2 hours, but customers may purchase additional time if required.
After Completion of the Class:
- Review drawing and customer defaults
- Create job in EBM and link job to PlanSwift
- Create breakouts and alternates
- Produce takeoff, (may include switchgear, lighting, branch power, feeders, site, fire alarms, imports from EPIC pricing database)
- Calculate job extensions and job totals
- Calculate additional expenses including job expenses, tools, subcontracts, markup
- VALUE ADD: We'll send you a video recording of the class, so you can refer back as often as you'd like
